The Border of the Faucet

Script for two people (blue and red)

Blue: Who plays the two characters?

Red: Red and blue, Andres y Emma, the two grandmothers, you and me.

Blue: We see Red, who is being pursued by Blue, enter the bathroom. Red goes to the sink to wash off sweat on her face that arose from the long and hectic pursuit. Bending down her head closer to the water, Red hits her head hard with the faucet and is seen slipping down to the floor, unconscious. On the other side of the door we see that Blue has finally caught up and is trying, but failing to open the locked door. The sound of water flowing freely from the still open faucet make us want to close our eyes.

Red: When we open them we see Red slowly getting up, carefully leaning on the bathtub and the toilet.  Red finds her face in the mirror and begins to touch the incredible skin she sees in the reflection. Red, who was a child when we began, is slowly feeling the thick curls of beard on her chin, the loose sag of her wrinkles. Red unlocks the door and steps into the familiar hallway, making her way into the dining room. We see Red standing in front of a much older Blue that asks: Who are you? What are you doing in my house?

We see Andres, who is being pursued by her sister Emma, enter the bathroom. Andres goes to the sink to wash off sweat on her face that arose from the long and hectic pursuit. Bending down her head closer to the water Andres hits her head hard with the faucet, and is seen slipping down to the floor, unconscious. On the other side of the door we see that Emma has finally caught up and is trying, But failing to open the locked door. We see Andres standing in front of a much older Emma (now played by her other grandmother) who asks: Who are you? What are you doing in my house?

We see Abuela Lupe, who is being pursued by Abuela Asuncion, enter the bathroom. Abuela Lupe goes to the sink to wash off sweat on her face that arose from the long and hectic pursuit. Bending down her head closer to the water Abuela Lupe hits her head hard with the faucet, and is seen slipping down to the floor, unconscious.
